Step 1: Initial Setup
- On the device, go to Settings, then tap Mail.
2. Tap Accounts.
3. Select Add Account, then choose Other.
4. Tap Add Mail Account.
5. Enter the email account details as follows:
- Name: enter your full name
- Email Address: the email account you want to add
- Password: enter the password linked to the email
- To continue, tap Next
Step 2: Configure as IMAP
1. Next, add the following information:
- Account Type: choose IMAP (allows you to read emails as they appear on the hosting server)
- Name: type your name
- Email: the email account you added
- Description: type the email account again
2. In the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter:
- Host Name – Server Address: insert the mail address of your domain
(e.g., mail.YOUR-DOMAIN-NAME.COM) - Username: the email account you added
- Password: enter the password linked to the email
- Then tap Next
3. The account will be verified.
After verification, tap Save.
✅ Once completed, the email should be configured. Perform sending and receiving tests to confirm everything is working 🙂
